In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Content

Players who finish the adventure will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
